Mostly Buildings

Entrance to Stirling Highland Hotel
This posh hotel was converted from an old high school. I thought the entrance was interesting because of the strong astrologcial (and hence non-christian) theme. I think this is consistent spritualism/mysticism movements of the Victorian era.

Scottish Parliament Building in Edinburgh
I think this building is fantastic! The design is reminiscent of an ancient type of dwelling used in the highlands known as a Crannog. The building is very controversial because of its design and expense. It cost tax payers 430 million pounds to construct.
